Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CloudFrame TV Roku application, the casting page at cast.cloudframe.tv, the CloudFrame account website at cloudframe.tv, and the OneDrive photo library subscription (together, “the app”). The app is operated by Francis Axis LLC, a limited liability company based in the State of Maine, USA (“Francis Axis,” “we,” “us”). By installing or using the app, or by sending photos to a TV using the casting page, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app does

CloudFrame TV displays photos from your own personal cloud storage on your TV. We support Microsoft OneDrive (personal). You connect your account through Microsoft’s own sign-in page, and we access it read-only to list folders and show your images. We are an independent app and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft. OneDrive and Microsoft are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.

The app offers casting: the TV displays a QR code and a short pairing code, and anyone who opens it on a phone can send photos to that TV from their browser — no account, no sign-in, nothing installed. Cast photos are temporary by design and are deleted automatically when the session ends.

Your account and content

You are responsible for your Microsoft account and for having the right to view the photos you connect. The app only displays content you already have access to in your own cloud storage; it does not create, modify, delete, or share your files. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Casting

Casting is not storage. It exists to put photos on a screen for a few minutes, and everything you send is deleted automatically — when you leave the Cast screen, shortly after the TV stops responding, and in any case within an hour. Do not use casting to store, back up, or transfer anything you need to keep. We cannot recover a cast photo once its session has ended, and we may end a session or delete cast content at any time.

You are responsible for what you cast. By sending a photo to a TV you confirm you have the right to do so, and that showing it on that screen is appropriate and lawful. Do not cast anything you do not have the rights to, anything unlawful, or anything the people around that TV have not agreed to see.

The pairing code is the key. While the Cast screen is open, anyone who has the code or can scan the QR code can send photos to that TV — that is how a guest casts without an account. Only share the code with people you want putting photos on your screen, and press Back to end the session when you are finished. If you own or control the TV, you are responsible for who you give the code to.

Free and paid features

Casting is always free and needs no account. You can use it for as long as you like without paying anything.

The OneDrive photo library, which connects your own OneDrive so your whole collection plays on the TVs you sign in on, is a paid subscription. It begins with a 7-day free trial.

How the trial and billing work. When you start the trial you provide a payment method, but you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel first, the subscription renews automatically at the end of the trial: your payment method is charged the price shown at checkout, and it then renews automatically each period (monthly or yearly, whichever you chose) until you cancel. We show you the price before you start, and our payment provider emails you before the trial converts to a paid subscription.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, during the trial or afterwards, from the billing portal linked on your account page. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged. Cancel a paid subscription and it stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then does not renew. Cancelling stops your signed-in TVs from showing the OneDrive library. Nothing in your actual OneDrive is affected.

Changing your plan. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from the billing portal. When you switch, we apply the price difference on a pro-rated basis: moving to a longer or higher-priced plan charges the pro-rated difference right away and starts the new plan’s billing period, while moving to a shorter or lower-priced plan applies a pro-rated credit toward your future invoices. Your access continues without interruption, and the new plan then renews automatically until you cancel.

Who you are buying from. Your subscription is sold and processed by our merchant of record, Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which is the seller of record, handles billing, and collects and remits any applicable taxes. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Polar’s terms of service and privacy policy. Refunds. Because you can try the app free for 7 days before you are charged, we do not offer automatic or pro-rated refunds: if you cancel a paid subscription it stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and then does not renew. We may still issue a refund at our discretion, and nothing here limits any refund rights you have under applicable law. Contact us or use the billing portal if you have a problem.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices from time to time. A change applies only to a future renewal, never to a period you have already paid for, and we will give you notice before it takes effect so you can cancel beforehand if you prefer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time. The app depends on third-party services (including Cloudflare and Roku); interruptions to those services may affect availability. We may update these Terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will always be able to display your photos.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Francis Axis LLC (including its members, officers, and employees) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app. The photos and files in your connected cloud account remain in that account; the app does not modify or delete them.

Cast photos are the deliberate exception: they are meant to be deleted, and we delete them automatically as described above and in our Privacy Policy. Casting is not a storage service, and we are not liable for the loss of anything you sent only to a TV.

Children

CloudFrame TV is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for users 13 and older.

Governing law and availability

The app is offered in the United States only. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maine.
